The Chairman of Sri Lanka`s power authority, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Dr. Wimaladharma Abeywickrema said the team has already begun observations at the plant.
They are expected to commence repairs of the power plant in the next two days as the plant is cooling down, added the Chairman.

However, there will be no power cuts on the Ramadan Festival Day.
The Ceylon Electricity Board employees, who were engaged in a strike for the last few days have returned to work today after agreeing to seek solutions to their demands through negotiations.
